Hi! I’m Nancy!
I’m a thrifty New Yorker obsessed with fashion, interior design, and decorating. I love to create outfits and spaces with the things I find while rummaging through thrift stores, estate sales, auctions, and even for free on the street! When I’m not out finding original Picasso plates at the thrift store, I can be found on my Instagram @casacavaliere, where I share everything from fashion design history to thrift shopping guides, to Facebook marketplace hacks, all while documenting the hilarious pitfalls of renovating and decorating my pre-war NYC rental apartment.
I’m currently available for consulting engagements.
In 2023 I collaborated with design expert and former EIC of House Beautiful Magazine, Sophie Donelson on her new book, Uncommon Kitchens, a revolutionary approach to designing the best room in the house.
